Welcome to our modern, family-friendly cottage right in the centre of town.
Just off Flowergate, one of the oldest streets in Whitby, and round the corner from the Old Court House is Cliff Street, where you will find Lobster Pot Cottage situated. Built only a few years ago, on a site where fishermen used to store their nets and lobster pots, the cottage is perfectly placed for getting to all amenities on foot. It is strictly non-smoking and pet-free.
A spacious open-plan design, the ground floor offers a comfortable lounge with leather sofas and wooden furniture. A television with satellite receiver sits on a stand in the corner and unlimited fast-fibre broadband is available throughout the property.
The well-equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, a large fridge/freezer, microwave, slimline dishwasher and a washing machine. The separate dining area allows plenty of opportunity for socialising at mealtimes around its pine table & chairs. There is also a downstairs toilet with WC and wash basin.
On the first floor will be found a spacious double bedroom with ensuite offering a WC, washbasin & shower. There is also a wardrobe and space for a travel cot (provided, if required). The twin bedroom has full-size 3'00" single beds and a wardrobe. Next to this will be found the house bathroom equipped with a full size bath and shower over, WC and wash basin.
At the top of the house is the second double room with a king-size bed. The wooden furniture includes a large wardrobe, cheval mirror, blanket chest and chair. Out of the window you have a clear view across the pan-tiled rooftops to St. Mary's Church on the East Cliff. There is also a sizeable ensuite with shower, WC and washbasin.
Centrally located, and very unusual for Whitby, the cottage boasts a dedicated off-road parking space for one family car. We also provide scratchcards for parking a second vehicle in the streets nearby. A high-quality travel cot and high chair are available.
All in all, a comfortable, spacious modern property - the perfect base for a family holiday or a break with friends.
